The hotel impressed with stylish interiors. My Nikolai Deluxe Canal View room offered a stunning view. Proximity to the train museum and downtown dining made exploring easy, just a quick walk. Comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. Loved the welcome drink at the bar, a nice touch. On the downside, the parking situation was a hassle. The nearest garage required a walk, making unloading luggage tough. The reception staff, while okay, didn’t seem overly friendly or engaging. Breakfast options felt limited, and the service could be faster. The room could benefit from more clear instructions for the phone and complimentary water. Overall, my stay had highlights but also room for improvement.

The hotel was a fantastic choice for our large family! The spacious room allowed my 5 teenagers and 2 children to have their own space, and the location made exploring the lovely Hamburg Port super easy. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating.
My children wanted a bit more variety on the breakfast menu for picky eaters. Some healthier options would be great for families with kids.

Perfect for solo travelers looking for style
I loved how the reception team took care of me from the get-go, it felt like they truly wanted to make my stay special. The breakfast blew me away, a spread that made you feel like a king with a choice between buffet and a la carte, every dish was fresh and beautifully presented.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but for what you get, I found it to be completely acceptable.
